Tectonic mod will rework the generation of the Minecraft world by adding massive mountain ranges that can stretch for thousands of blocks. River generation, vegetation and a bunch of small landscape improvements will also be improved. There will also be more than 20 new biomes and their variations. All these changes were made without adding new blocks.
