Village & Pillage is another update of Minecraft 1.14.4 game that was released on July 3, 2019, the main theme of the update is villagers (NPCs) and villages. Villages have received a redesigned design, all villagers have new types of textures, professions and their own jobs. The game has a new bamboo biome, pandas and fox, traveling merchant, hostile mobs and pillagers.
Pillagers add new gameplay to the game, now you can defend the village from waves of robber raids. Along with this, new decorative and functional blocks, new food, new weapons and more are added to Minecraft 1.14.4. All textures have been replaced in the game, which noticeably changes the style of the game itself.
Parrots used to appear on the grass itself. They will now generate on grass blocks. Riders will now only appear in fully loaded chunks. The developers from Mojang note that the lighting will be recalculated when the world is first opened.
