Skin Layers 3D 1.20.4/1.19.4/1.16.5/1.12.2

Skin Layers 3D mod for Minecraft will improve the appearance of volumetric skins, make them more beautiful and realistic. In Minecraft game without mods, to give volume to the skin – you need to create a 2 texture layer that hangs above the first and due to this creates the effect of volume, but this approach has disadvantages, since when viewed from the side, you will see gaps.

This mod refines the skins display system and now ordinary skins look really voluminous. The mod makes the 2nd layer of the skin really three-dimensional by extending this layer towards the player, thus getting the complete transition of the first layer into the second, which eliminates gaps. In practice it looks very good, although the player will be slightly larger, since layer 2 is no longer flat.

The author also pointed out that the mod function is disabled at a distance of 12 blocks from the player to improve performance.
