Minecraft 1.16.5 Nether Update

Minecraft 1.16.5 is a global update to the Java version of the game, affecting mainly the Nether. The update was announced at Minecon Live 2019. This time, Mojang developers are focusing on reworking hell. Mobs, items and blocks will be changed and improved and new monsters, mechanics, plants, ore, weapons, armor, etc. will be added. Many aspects of this dimension have now been changed.

In addition to improving and fixing game stability issues, some crashes have been fixed. All these bugs affected the gameplay, the players were not very happy due to crashes. This update for Java Edition was released on January 13, 2021.

New mobs:

Hoglin – Swinepot lives in the crimson forest. From them you can get pork and skin. You can breed Hoglins by feeding Crimson Mushrooms.

Piglin – aggressive mob, loves gold very much. If the player is wearing a set of golden armor, they will not attack. To start trading with them, just throw a gold bar nearby. Can attack the player if you mine gold in front of him.

Strider – passive mob. Lives in lava lakes. Walks on lava. Use warped fungus to breed. It can be ridden, for this you need a fishing rod with a warped fungus. Movement speed slows on land and increases when moving over lava.
