An excellent mod called Ore Reeds will allow you to open an alternative way to mine the usual ore in Minecraft 1.16.5/1.15.2/1.14.4 game. Actually, now you can grow ore as a kind of reed, and then, when fully ripe, use it at your discretion. A worthy mod for your collection that brings something interesting to the game.
