A small mod for Minecraft 1.20/1.12.2 called Durability Notifier will allow you to turn on some kind of warning when the state of your weapon or tool is approaching critical. At 20% or less of its condition, you will receive a notification about its imminent breakdown and the need to replace it as soon as possible.

- Download and install Minecraft Forge / Fabric

- Download the mod
- Without unpacking copy to .minecraft\mods
