The Are You Blind!? mod will allow you to choose objects that will be highlighted when placed in the world and the special mode is activated with the G key.
To add to the list, the default key is NUM+, to exclude NUM- (you can do this in the configuration file).

- Download and install Minecraft Forge
- Download the mod
- Without unpacking copy to .minecraft\mods
- Done!
