AppleSkin Mod 1.17.1/1.16.5/1.15.2/1.12.2 (Food and Hunger Information)

AppleSkin is a small but useful mod for Minecraft 1.17.1/1.16.5 game. Thanks to it, you can get more complete information about your hunger level. Previously, this functionality was in the AppleCore mod, but it was withdrawn into a separate mod.

The main function of the mod – now, when you hover the cursor over food, it will be shown how many units of hunger it restores and how many units of saturation it gives.

If you don’t understand: hunger and satiety are different things. The player acquires saturation as an “addition” to the hunger scale, if it is full. Firstly, it is spent to restore health faster, and secondly, it slows down fasting: units of hunger will not start to go away until the whole effect of saturation is gone. This is not a novelty of the mod, but a part of the “vanilla” game mechanics, previously simply not displayed in any way.

Also, the mod slightly modifies the scale of hunger. Now she looks like this:

Dark stripe on the background – fatigue. When it is full, you lose one hunger unit (or saturation if you have it). Golden Chicken Legs – Saturation. Everything is simple and convenient.
