Trains Mod 1.12.2 (Create Your Own Railroad)

Thanks to the Trains mod, you can become a real train driver right in Minecraft 1.12.2 game! The mod completely redesigns the minecarts system, turning them into locomotives by combining the necessary cars into a single long train.

To connect several wagons together, you will need special items, also added to the game. After coupling, you will need to crafting a train that will pull the entire resulting train.

It is possible to create a railroad supply network by simply downloading this mod. All carriages have places for things, in which you are allowed to place chests for transporting a large amount of resources and you can travel on trains like on ordinary minecarts.
