Clear Skies mod will remove in Minecraft the bright strip of sky on the horizon. Probably this will make the game a little more or less “correct” in terms of realism, because this effect is an atmospheric haze that is in real life.
However, many do not like this effect, because behind the haze there is nothing but the sky, usually the haze is clearly visible if you look at the mountains. In general, see screenshots and decide if you need such a mod.
